Toes

As I was downloading the pictures from the camera to the computer, I came upon this...Kiera's toes, taken by the lil' photographer herself. So proud of the "pad-rin" (pattern) of colors on her tootsies. 

Kiera is wearing a size 11 1/2  or 12 shoe. 

Kathi's Sauce

Kathi and Adam invited us over for dinner to eat Kath's delicious homemade spaghetti sauce. It was soooo yummy! We had a laid back afternoon enjoying good eats, good family time and good relaxing! We didn't see Kiera most of the afternoon; she was too busy having a blast with her cousins.

No one was too trilled about me pulling out the camera (except maybe Kiera, she's used to it!) but I took a few semi-candid shots anyway...and I'm glad I did. 

Happy Birthday, Papa!

We had a fun afternoon celebrating Papa's birthday! First up, snacks and gifts at our house. Then Moosehead for lunch. Birthday dessert was ice cream at Malleys. When we got home, the guys headed to the St. Ignatius football game at the Browns' Stadium while the girls went to CVS, cut Boxtop labels, played Scrabble and hung out. 

1st Day of Preschool - 4 Years Old

Today was Kiera's first day of school. She was excited to go back. She has the same teachers, Miss Kathy and Miss Sharon and one new helper, Mr. Andrew.  For a special first day of school treat, we rode our bike to Malley's for ice cream. We are looking forward to a great school year!

Pool Fun in SC

Gavin and Erin have a pool in their backyard and Kiera was in heaven!

Book Club

I hosted book club last night. We read Half Broke Horses by Jeannette Walls. 

The company was great, the book was great, the food was great and 

thanks to Pinterest; the decorations and snacks were great too!

Erica came over before she left for college to say "good-bye for now" to us.

1st School Birthday Party

 Kiera got invited to her first school friend's birthday party. It was at Memphis Kiddie Park. Kiera enjoyed seeing her school friends and even one of her teachers! Her favorite ride at the park was the merry go round.
