Move Over Partridge Family...

Move over Partridge Family...there's a new family in town! Last night after dinner, Kiera got out her "music bin" and started to make some noise. It wasn't long before the whole family joined in! You can thank me that his is only visual, not audio, because I can guarantee that you wouldn't have enjoyed the sound :)

Totally unrelated Kiera stories... She was brushing her hair, and put the longest layer of hair behind her and left the shorter layer framing her face, in a bob style. She proudly turned to me and said, "Do you like my kabob?" She seriously thinks a bob is called a kabob.

Frozen Festival

We're still in the Frozen craze! We went to the Frozen Fest at the Olmsted Performing Arts Center with our friend J. The girls enjoyed meeting and posing for a photo ops with the characters. Kristoff liked Kiera's bow and called her a princess...long live Kiera's bows! Then they got balloon swords, made an Olaf craft, ate Olaf waffles and ice cream while waiting in line for face painting and watched  a theatre production of Frozen. The girls didn't want to "Let it Go!" so we continued the fun with a little playdate after the festival.

Getting our STOMP on!

We went to see Stomp downtown at the Palace Theatre. It was Girl Scout Day, so all the Girl Scouts in attendance received a patch...bonus! The show was amazing; Kiera was enthralled. Her favorite scene was when they were playing drums on stainless steel kitchen sinks. The sinks were filled with water and at the end of the scene, they let out the plug and the water flowed into a bucket like it was going to the bathroom...do they ever grow out of potty humor? We ended the night with Mexican from our favorite restaurant and Mitchell's Ice Cream.

Happy 22nd Birthday, Ty!

Tyler turned 22! We celebrated with a dinner at home at the request of the birthday boy we had meatloaf, mashed potatoes, asparagus and apple pie. His gift was windshield wipers...adult gifts are so much fun.  Kiera helped decorate so everything was bright and fun. She also made party activity cards that directed us to eat cake, open gifts, dance with a stuffed animal and do the hokey pokey. Ty, being the good sport he is, danced along with Kiera to Taylor Swift's song "22" with a stuffed animal in hand; it was precious! Then the whole gang went down to the basement to do the hokey pokey. Tyler has an internship this semester with an accounting firm downtown so we are happy to have him living with us again, even if it's a short time.

Kiera converted her Gingerbread House into her
very own cake for Tyler

Right before the dance party, these three silly Kettes
balanced a stuffed animal on their heads

Happy 96th Birthday, Gram!

We celebrated Gram's 96th birthday at the Outback Steakhouse for lunch.
One of gram's favorite meals is a well done steak! We headed back to Aunt
Dorothy's for cake, ice cream and some family and cousin time. We gave Gram
lotto tickets and a calendar of all the great grand kids.

We pass on Kiera's clothes to Gia when she outgrows them.
Here they are having a looking at the clothes and having
