Family Bowling

Instead of giving Christmas gifts to our cousins this year, we decided that we would all get together during Christmas Break and do an activity as a family. Today was the day! We went to the Corner Alley downtown and had lunch and bowling. We had two lanes. Bay was the winner of lane one and Mimi was the winner on lane two. Good times!

Christmas Number Four

My favorite teacher friends and I got together for lunch and a Christmas celebration at R's house. We usually go to a restaurant when we get together, so it was nice and relaxing this time. The kids played with all of M's toys and had a blast.

Christmas Stop No. 2 and 3

We went to my Aunt Dorothy's house to see my dad's side of the family. Kiera had a great time playing with her cousins. She loved holding the baby.

On the day after Christmas, we went to Grandma and Grandpa

to the bike, she didn't even take her coat off!

Christmas Morning

Kiera got up around 7:30 (her usual) but we relaxed in bed with Dora until 8. Then the fun began! Kiera was a hoot...she would unwrap a toy, then want to open it and play with it. It took her about 30 minutes to open 3 gifts. I ended up putting some toys away for her to open on a rainy day. Ty's fave gift, other than cash, was his external hard drive for his computer. Kiera was super excited that Santa ate her cookies. She loved that he left one bite.

Christmas Eve Recap

We had Mimi, Papa and Emmy over for our Christmas Eve tradition of fondue. Delish! Ty's friends stopped by for a bit. We hung out in the basement. Then left cookies for Santa.
