Happy Birthday to Me!

On Friday, we had an early birthday celebration with dad and gram...and from what I hear, another celebration is happening tonight too!

Lunch

Yesterday we had a fun lunch with two of our have gals, Mimi and Nanny Jane. We went to Yours Truly. Kiera behaved pretty well, thanks to the train table, the stickers (see below!) and new bracelets from both Mimi and Nanny Jane (great minds think alike!)

Friday! Friday!

Kiera learned the words to the Friday Song by Rebecca Black. It's a lame song, but Kiera loves Fridays (because it's Grandpa Day) so she loves this song. One day, I was singing the lyrics "Fridaaaay, Fridaaaay" and Kiera chimes in with the next line, "Gettin' down on Friday!" It was so funny. Here are some pics from Friday. It was the last day of swimming lessons so the little kids got to go on the slide and diving board. Our girl loved it! She wasn't scared, but she did say that the diving board was shaky.

Down the slide with GrandpaSwim lessons are in the morning before the pool opens. So after lessons, we head home or do errands, eat lunch, then head back to the pool.

We had a neighborhood garage sale with Auntie Kate and it was a lot of work, and very HOT! She came with us to the pool with her niece. I did not take any pics of it, but the girls had a lemonade stand while we had the garage sale. They donated half of their money to the Nature Center. The Nature Center gave the girls a logo notebook and pen. Kiera sat on the back porch and drew a line on each of her toes with the pen. Dave told her we don't write on our bodies and why did you do that? She said "So I can look beautiful!"

Kiera is loving her swimming lessons! She is learning to float, to "scoop and kick" (aka swim) and to bob in the water. She likes her teacher, Mr. Jacob. She is looking forward to Friday, the last day of lessons, when all of the kids get to go down the slide and off the diving board!

Ty's Grad Party

Ty's party was great...everything came together so nicely! The food was delish (I love Guido's catering!), the weather was perfect (no rain, nice and shady in the backyard) , the band was fun (so was the dancing!) and the best part was being with all of our family and friends (thanks for supporting Ty everyone!) More Playground Fun

After dinner we headed to Play in Bay for some fun!

Today Kiera told me that "When I grow up, I'm going to hatch a baby from here (pointing to her tummy)."
