Fun Adventure

Our neighbor had to work and their babysitter was sick so C and J 

spent the day with us. We went on a fun adventure...to the Nature Center,

on a nature scavenger hunt, out to lunch and to a new playground in Avon.

Made me miss Kiera's toddle days when we used to go these places on a 

weekly, if not daily, basis.

Where are the Dog Days of Summer? We've got a dog, and it's

summer, but where's the sultry heat?

Since my school year was over before Kiera's, I was able to chaperone

her end of the year zoo field trip without missing work. Here's our group!

Lake Michigan

We traveled up to Northern Michigan to The Homestead Resort for Nicole and David's wedding. It is so beautiful there...it's like being in Myrtle Beach without the salty water. The lake water was so blue, it was funny seeing a lake that wasn't brown! The weather was cool and windy, so we didn't go in the lake, only the heated pool.  Kiera and I did some exploring at the beach and the playground and took a dip in the heated pool.

Our girl is forever doing cartwheels...in the yard, on the beach, on walks,

you name it, she's probably done a cartwheel there!
