First Beach Trip 2019

Kiera had a volleyball tournament this weekend. Because of her knee brace, she's not playing in the games, but we are going to the tournaments to support the team. It was such a beautiful day out, that on our way home from the tourney, we stopped at the beach for our first visit of the year...and it didn't disappoint! 

First Beach Visit of the Season

I'm a little behind in posting...One day after school, Kiera and I took 

a quick trip to our favorite beach to hunt for beach glass. The water

was pretty far on the shore, so there wasn't a lot of beach glass to be

found, but it was a good taste of what's to come this summer! 

Nickel Plate Beach

On our way home from visiting Grandma and Grandpa Kette, we made a pit stop in Huron to see one of Dave's painters' new house. His house is right by Nickel Plate Beach so we had to take a visit. Our little monkey played on the playground then went running along the beach. We love our great lake! 

Beach Bums

We visited one of our favorite spots along the Lake Erie shores...the Bay Boat Club. Kiera is pretty good at finding beach glass, but she prefers to have her feet in the water and skip rocks. 

S'Mores Party on the Beach

Friday night before the wedding, Nicole and David had a S'mores party at the beach. The sunset was amazing! We watched the sun slowly set from about 8 o'clock until around 10pm. It made for a beautiful backdrop for the party.
