We have had A LOT of fun this Christmas week...See???

Kiera and Daddy on Christmas Eve

Pointing at the "orn-ments" (she also
calls them balls and decorations)

Let the opening begin!

A new pink soccer ball!

Later in the morning, Ryan and Tyler came
over to open gifts.

The Kids and me

Dave and the kids...minus Gavin and Erin

Mr. and Mrs. Kette

The cousins and Grandpa Jerry...Like Kiera's
outfit? Her dress got wet, so I put it in the
dryer and so she put on these dress up clothes.

Mother and Daughters

Mimi and Papa model their new Lands End
Christmas gifts

Kiera loungin' on Nick...She loves
her Nick and always says, "Nick,
picked kitty up!" because Nick
picked his kitty up for her to pet.

More loungin' with Em and Paul

On to the next stop...Grandpa's!
Here's Ty lovin' on the pup

Dad and Daughter (sorry about the glare on your
glasses, dad!)

Cutie cousin in their cozy pjs!

Kiera Jean reading her new Christmas book
with Great-Grandma Jean

We went to visit Grandma and Grandpa
Kette on the 26th. Kiera is admiring their
ornaments.

Yummy! Grandma and Grandpa made
lunch for us and sent us home with a big
box of cookies.

Pulling Grandma Kette over by the presents!

A new bike!

Ty gives me some pointers on how to
ride a bike.

Cousin Bay slept over on the 28th
and we took her over to the Lake Erie
Nature Center to see all of the animals

Lexmark Imaging Studio

While uploading the photos of Kiera to the blog, I clicked on an icon that I've never used before...The Lexmark Imaging Studio...it's a photo shop where you can do all kinds of fun editing to your photos. This one is called "antique gray." I think it looks pretty cool.
Kiera was happy when she saw the mailman out the window because he brought her a package from Uncle Mark....Elmo was inside the package!

Who needs a sticker book?

While I was putting away laundry (see the open closet door?) here is what Kiera was doing...
She had a blast with her stickers! Also notice her new bow...A teacher at my school gave Kiera a big bag of hair bows for Christmas.

Bockrath Christmas

We traveled to Cincinnati to Paul and Bev's house this weekend for the Bockrath Family Christmas Party. Kiera didn't sleep a wink in the car (or much in the hotel room either). The food was delicious. We got to meet our twin cousins for the first time. Kiera spent most of the evening playing with Paul's flying, screaming monkey. We had a fun time!

Go Browns!

I am the Special Olympics coordinator for my school and I got free tickets to the Browns game on Sunday. We took 3 boys to the game with us. It was freezing and the Browns lost, but we still had fun!

Early Christmas Gifts

Kiera is one lucky girl! She received two early Christmas presents.

Kiera has her own nativity. It's Fisher
Price Little People so it's nearly
indestructible...She can play with it.
I am sad to say that she likes the manger
animals more than Baby Jesus....but
we're working on that!

Isn't this shirt adorable? Thank you
for the personalized Christmas shirt,
Nanny Jane! Don't know if you can see
it in the photo or not, but the bottom
part of the Christmas tree says "Kiera."
Also note the boo-boo under her eye...
She tried to pick up and kiss two small
cement turtles (they're garden decorations)
and ended up getting a boo-boo from the
turtles instead of a kiss!

Where's Waldo?

Forget Where's Waldo?! It's Where's Kiera?!
Dave got out all of Gavin/Ryan/Tyler's old
stuffed animals for Kiera to play with.
She drags these silly animals everywhere!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at the Kette Household. We took advantage of the nice weather and put up our outside decorations (while we weren't playing bubbles with Kiera!) We stuck to the basics, nothing fancy. We usually don't even do Christmas lights outside, but Kiera LOVES them. We have already driven around town twice just to look at the "Chris-a-mis" lights. She shouts, "my side!" when she sees them out her car window. She also says that the lights are "beautiful!"

Kiera had to have a turn on the ladder!

Kiera and Mommy

The finished product...
...there are lights on the two trees, the pine
roping and the wreath on the front door
(that you can't see because of the glare!)

Stay tuned for part two...the decorating of the indoors...that we'll work on when Tyler comes home!

Bye Em and Paul!

We enjoyed having Emily and her boyfriend Paul home for Thanksgiving. They stopped at our house on their way to Mimi and Papa's house and on their way back to Chicago. We shared good food and good laughs....and Kiera shared some quality time with Paul! She showed off for him, big time! Bye Em and Paul, we miss you already!
