Celebrating with Gram and Grandpa

Took me a while to post these! Great Gram and Grandpa brought Kiera a cake, ballons and presents on Friday, March 18, two days after her birthday (on the day they watch her). She gave a lot of hugs and kisses, enjoyed her cake and new Barbie Hair-Do Head...to which she kept asking "Why doesn't she have a body?"

Skunk

Kiera drew a skunk. What I thought was the big, bushy tail is what Kiera explained to me as "you know, how when a person comes by a skunk and the skunk squirts stuff from his dupa." And that kidney bean shape on his body, "that's a boo-boo."

Kiera got a birthday card in the mail today from Aunt Carrie and Uncle Carl. She loves getting mail. She's modeling her new stickers and we already put her money in her piggy bank. Thanks, Aunt Carrie and Uncle Carl!

Another Snow Day

We got another snow day today! Ty had school, go figure. They called it late (about 6 am) so I was already showered and dressed (poor Mrs. EV was already at school!) so I had an enjoyable morning to myself because Kiera slept until 8:30. She woke up sad that Grandpa wasn't here. She wanted me to drive over and pick him up. So sweet of her. He's going to come visit tomorrow, weather permitting. We played marbles, tag, painted rainbows, read books, ate breakfast, walked her toy dogs, took pictures, did dot-to-dots all before 11 o'clock. Then we geared up and headed out to play in the snow.

Auntie Em was on Spring Break this week, so we are spending lots of time with her! She watched Kiera on Tuesday. Kiera loves her Auntie so much, she slept in until almost 9am. They went on a walk/ride around the block, collected treasures and did hair.
