A new refrigerator...actually two separate units
put together to look like one. A separate freezer unit

Christmas Cookie Baking

We did our annual Christmas Cookie baking the weekend before Christmas. We baked, laughed, burt (the poor snowball cookies!), talked, reminisced and baked some more! Then we all posed with the rolling pin.

Making our own ____

We made our own
pickles with our garden cucumbers,
a loaf of wheat bread
with Mimi's bread maker

Homemade Marshmallows

I saw an idea on Pinterest to make your own marshmallows. Okay, so they are not truly "homemade" because all you do is spread Cool Whip in a pan and freeze it...but they were fun and yummy!

Cookies

Here's Kiera's description of the pics below..."Me and momma were making cookies. We put in chocolate chips, crasins and pudding. Then we mixed it up and made cookies out of it. They taste good, good, good."
We followed this recipe, but added pecans. Yum!

Pumpkin Pie

Kiera was making her own version of pumpkin pie...she filled up water in a tupperware container and was stirring it up, pretending to add sugar. Dave asked her "Where's the pumpkin in your pumpkin pie?" And that prompted us to really make a pumpkin pie. It was meant to be; we had all of the ingredients at home.  Can't wait for more on Thanksgiving Day!
