We love Ferris Bueller!

It's no secret that our fam loves the movie Ferris Bueller's 

Day Off. So imagine my surprise when I found this shirt in C's suitcase!

 Of course it called for a Ferris photo shoot.  Kiera is wearing Em's

old t-shirt...a classic for sure! 

Swim Lessons 2017 Edition

We had two kids in swim lessons this year...K in level 5 and 

C in preschool! Kiera is thrilled to have made it to level 6 

which is the last level. She mentioned wanting to be a lifeguard

when she is older. C went from hanging on the teacher on day 

one to being one of the liveliest kids in his class.

On the last Friday of the two week lessons, each swimmer

gets a report of their skills and a sucker and "Friday Fun Day" 

where the kids can go on the slides and boards! Here are 

both kiddos getting their certificates and thanking their teachers.

We always thank our teachers with their favorite candy bar...

Kiera's gotten good at sneaking that question into conversation.

Zoo

Summer means a trip to the zoo! It was hot and crowded, but

we managed to have a good time. The kids liked the snake slide

and the camel ride best. 

Summer Fun with C!

We enjoyed having the littlest Kette visiting us this summer

while his parents renovated their new home!
