Sidewalk Chalk Fun

After a fall-like dinner of scalloped potatoes and ham, 

we headed outside for family sidewalk chalk time!

(I'm sure Ryan and Tyler are so sad they are at college!)

Beach Fun

Two weeks ago, the girls and I hit the beach to soak up the last of the summer weather. We splashed in the water, chased the white caps and hunted for sea glass.

Birthday Party

Our cousin AJ turned six! The kids had a blast playing together...Karson and Kiera love animals and Gia loves Kiera because she's another girl. AJ was too wrapped up in his new toys to  play with the other kids. A true sign that the kids played hard and had fun...Kiera was asleep in the car ten minutes into the drive home!

Bobbing for Apples

 And I let her, all the while

 trying to tell her that you needed to add more water to make it challenging, 

and wiping up water. 

Block Party

Last night was our annual Block Party. The weather was surprisingly beautiful. Fun was had by all. The neighborhood kids played and played some more while the adults talked and ate. Kiera was beside herself...desserts galore, fun games, riding her bike in the street! We love our street!
