We made our first batch of snow ice cream using Paula Deen's recipe. It was tasty but had a different consistency. Papa and Kiera gathered the snow then we all enjoyed it!
The ice cream was delish! I told the kids we did the same thing back when I was in third grade combining snow and maple syrup. It was delish then too! And I don't think my mom had to sign a permission slip either LOL!
Hopefully you didn't use any YELLOW snow in your recipe! If you did that might have given it the different texture!
