 Lane, our neighbor at the farm, caught these two

huge snapping turtles in our pond!

 Saturday afternoon fun at the Bedford Art Fest

 As we were leaving the art fest, we drove past Mimi's 

childhood home. I made them hop out to take a pic, then 

something magical happened...the homeowner was 

sitting on the enclosed porch (curious as to what we were 

doing, I'm sure) so Mimi knocked on the door and said

this was her childhood home and do you mind if I take a

pic with my granddaughter? The sweet couple invited us

all inside to see the house! They were the owners that bought

the house when Mimi's family lost it (a story for another day)

so they new all about our family and were just as excited to

talk to my mom as she was them! We stayed for almost two

hours chatting about the house (both old stories and new),

 seeing improvements they made and making new friends with

the most kind people. It's a day Mimi will never forget. In fact, 

she wrote a thank you note to the owners and they wrote back to 

her! She stated in her message that the old house is resting 

easier because of her visit.

 All day, everyday! Brooke loves her frisbee!
