Eight is Great!

Kiera started off her birthday with a donut and purple milk.
After school, she changed into some jazzy clothes and we opened
cards she got in the mail and her present from us.

We tricked Kiera and put her iPod in a big box so she wouldn't
know what it was...

So excited!

Kiera's birthday dinner of choice...potstickers!
Our traditional birthday cupcakes! Kiera picked salted caramel
this year.

St. Patrick's Day dinner...More birthday
festivities, but only one picture!

Off to Mimi and Papa's on Saturday for
more birthday fun! Easter Egg hunt...with money!

Gum balls!
The following Saturday we headed back to Meem's
to celebrate with Emily!
Kiera was so proud of this "Super Aunt" magnet she found
at the thrift store for Em.

Such cute wrapping!

Kiera finally "gets" jokes and puns now!

Hike to Salamander Spring

We took a hike up to one of the natural springs at the farm. Kiera has dubbed it
"Salamander Spring" because salamanders like to hang out in the crock. This trip
did not disappoint...there were eight in there, but we couldn't catch any!

One day, the ravine will be dammed and the spring will
fill this area and we'll have a perch pond.

Hiking to the "Secret Rock"

Kiera named this pass-through in the rock her "Secret Rock." She didn't want me
to post these pictures because it's secret...but I assured her no one else knew exactly
where it was. Here's the fam passing through the "Secret Rock."

We Had a "Wheel-ly" Fun Weekend at the Farm!

Posing with the tractor on this beautiful (almost) Spring day!

"Hit the Bunny"

The snow is long gone, but I had to share...Dave and Ty started this silly "game" when Ty was in high school...throw a snow ball at the bunny statue in the backyard and the one who hits it is the winner. Well, anything her brothers do, Kiera does too...the game continues!
