We spent the weekend at the farm and enjoyed the warm weather.
Won't be long till the goose eggs hatch!
Mama Goose on the water, honking at us to leave her babies alone!
Kiera's photoshoot with her bunnies...
...and Pup-Pup
A hike to the Salamander Spot
Clearing wild rose bushes to get better access to the crock
Posing for Pics
Walking back...
Then posing on a stump...
Princess Kiera of Dirt Mountain
As they say in the movie, Home,
"My hands are in the air like I just do not care!"
Heading back to the cabin...Look at all of the ramps!
We love our Muck Boots!
The right away...Getting ready to get wired for electricity!
(Thanks for your help, Papa!)
We're roughed in for plumbing!
We've got drywall!

The top window is the loft and the skinny window is above the shower
Left/West view
Walking from the cabin to Kiera's Pond
A newly formed Silt or Sediment Pond...a mini pond, in front of the big pond,
that the spring feeds. It's job is to hold the silt and sediment that come from the
spring (especially after a big rain) so your real pond doesn't fill up with
sediment. Never knew about them before this one, hence the definition!
Looking for, what else, salamanders and cray fish!
Hiking up the spring
Our seven year old in a four-shaped tree
Hiking the hill to get to the cabin
The posts are in for the new 12'x16' dock
Dave and I reset the rock wall on the dam
Another view of the rock wall
Leaving the farm, we snapped a pic on the road (west side of the farm)
Pine tree grove was logged/thinned out to give the remaining
trees room and sunlight to grow larger
High water! One of the roads that leads to the farm floods (after big rains)
with Dave's big truck, we're able to go through it most of the time (if the
water is at or below the guard rails). On this trip through, we spotted a
turtle sunning on a log.
