Last Day of 7th Grade

And just like that, Kiera said goodbye to 7th grade and hello to summer! The school year ended a day earlier than planned this year, on June 7th, a Monday. Because the year was basically over and grades were already submitted, we did something we don't normally do - a school night sleepover! Kiera had two friends sleepover. The girls went to bed around 11:30 and were up at 6:30. The school day doesn't start until 9, but they went to the local coffee shop, Mojo's for breakfast before school.

Sleepover

 Kiera had her first "friend sleep over" two weekends ago. She has had her cousin sleep over and she's slept at Mimi and Papa's before, but not with friends. Kiera and Caity kept busy; they played with almost every toy Kiera owns! They didn't even talk to us, only to ask for snacks. They were asleep by ten and up just before seven. Before Caity went home, the girls already planned the next sleepover; Kiera at Caity's house the following weekend. The last picture is of Kiera all packed up (since early that morning) to go to Caity's house for the next sleepover!
