Girls Galore

We got to see a lot of our favorite girls today! The day started off at First Watch with Aunties Heather and Kristan. We sure crammed a lot of fun and catching up into one hour.

Then off to the airport to pick up Auntie Em! Papa took Kiera for a walk around the airport while we were waiting for Em's plane to land. She enjoyed the escalators but only when she was holding Papa's hand.

Kiera was so excited to see her Emmy!
We went to the Public House for a late lunch, then to visit Grandpa Jerry. He isn't doing so well, but you could see that he was happy to see everyone. Kiera was extra sweet to him. It was like she knew that he couldn't play football or blocks with him. She just gave him a hug on his tummy and kissed his knee...and shared a lick of her sucker, of course.

Mom and Aunt Cheryl...two of the reasons why I love tea! Thanks again, Aunt Cheryl, for Kiera's new hair bows! They are adorable! I checked out the website and it's adorable too!
Kiera and Nicoley make friendship bracelets
I can't wait to do this same pose this summer on the beach in bathing suits when we take our family vacay to the beach!!!!
We love all you girls and we are so thankful to call you friends and family!

One "hail" of a night

Dick Goddard was right on with the weather forecast last night...thunder, lightening, tornado warning, and hail! See it coming down?

Fun on Friday

Another fun Friday night at the Kette House! Tyler had baseball practice and team dinner, Dave mowed the grass, Kiera played outside and I took pictures.

"Mama, I see water in there!"
Peek a boo with the watering can
Watering cilantro
My fave pic of the night
Fraying twine for the birdies to use for their nests...because we don't want them taking the string from the awning of the gazebo for their nests!
No night is complete without some bubble blowing!
See her paint? And her bandaid?
Another fave shot

Auntie Em got this for Kiera at Easter
"Write eb-e-buddy, Mama..Gavin and Wyan"
She wanted me to write her biggest brother's names too!

Then the fun ended because the rain came...

So we went inside and had pizza for dinner, no cooking for me!
Now that is Fun on Friday!

David Van Gogh

I'm finally fished with my college class... I'll be just in time to renew my teaching license which expires on June 30th! Thank goodness my license is good for 5 years. With this blog and all you two readers as my witnesses, I'm not going to wait until the last minute to complete my six hours of coursework next time!!

Here are the last three portraits that I (err...Dave) submitted.

Friday night baseball

We enjoyed a lovely Friday night at Canton Central Catholic HS. It was a warm, sunny evening. Too bad we got whooped...that's why Tyler has the terribly mean look on his face in this pic! After the game we went to Sheetz for a gourmet dinner of nachos (Dave and me), sandwich and fries (Ty) and watermelon (Kiera). Ms. Merk and her daughter, M were at the game too, cheering on their cousin who plays for Canton. M really kept Kiera occupied, I actually got to watch the game, while I wasn't chatting to Kitty that is! Shame on me for not taking picture of Kiera and M! These were snapped after the game.

Play in Bay

We took a trip to Play in Bay to have some fun!
Swinging
Peek-a-boo in the tower
A blurry peek-a-boo
This ladder leds to an enclosed slide......and this is Kiera at the bottom. She was a little afraid to go down by herself, so I helped her at the top and Dave caught her at the bottom.
Climbing...

Next we went to Dairy Queen for ice cream.
And finally home to (hopefully) take a nap.
