Lightening Bugs
Lightening bug fever has struck the Kette House! Everyday Kiera is asking if she can stay up late to catch them. It's worked in her favor three times so far! After she catches them, she gets to put them in her room to use as a night light.

Bay Days
Mimi and Papa came over for a cook out. After dinner we headed to Bay Days! It was a perfect day to go because Kiera had a two hour nap in the afternoon...so she was truly a joy to be around in the evening. The first ride of the night, The Scrambler, Mimi's favorite! This was Kiera's first Bay Days ride. The past two years we've only gone for a sweet treat and to ride the pony. Kiera said she liked it, but it was too fast. We got to see some friends too! After that she went on the big slide and finally the Ferris Wheel with Papa. She loved it! Before she got on, she said she wanted to catch a lightening bug when she was at the top of the wheel. That didn't happen, but she had a blast! We finished out the evening with a snow cone and funnel cake.
