Pumpkin Carving 2014

Twas the night before Halloween and the pumpkin was carved, 

not a creature was stirring, only a skeleton! 

So proud of her design; she'd been planning it since the day we

bought the pumpkin

 Who is going to clean the pumpkin?

 It was a team effort, but Dave did most of the work!

 My job was to photograph and then clean the pumpkin

Date Night with Dad

Kiera and Dave had a "Date Night" this week while I was at school for parent teacher conferences. They went to Sherwin Williams for a Halloween Craft Night. Dave snapped this adorable pic before they left...Which version do you like best?

Creek Walking

Kiera and I made an impromptu stop at the park. She and grandpa discovered a creek behind Clague Playground and she's been dying to go back ever since! She was still in her school clothes but that didn't stop her; she slipped off her jumper and I let her go in the creek with her school tennis shoes. This girl loves nature!

Sunflowers

In honor of Maria, a young girl who died of a brain tumor, her family planted a mile-long patch of sunflowers. There is a dirt road and parking lot for people to view the flowers. We stopped on our way home from dinner to enjoy the beautiful flowers, pay tribute to Maria and to thank God for our health. What an amazing sight! I'd like to go back with the real camera, not the iPhone, but these are too special to share...even if they are a little dark. 

Plasma Car
