More Soccer

This weekend the weather was so perfect....eighty degrees and sunny! Kiera had another good game. No goal, but she got a lot of action. She played really hard and was all smiles on and off the field. It was our turn to bring snack, and the watermelon was a big hit on such a warm day. We finished out the afternoon with a cookout on the patio. 

It's been fun...

It's been a fun week hanging out with Em and celebrating her graduation. We're going to miss her as she heads back to Chicago tonight. We had a mini-send off, complete with a trip to the Bay Diner for dinner and cupcakes for dessert!

Ryan's Birthday Party

Ryan celebrated his 27th birthday this Friday and had a party this weekend to celebrate. We got him a gift certificate to Mid-Ohio Racing so he can race his new BMW on the professional track. He is jazzed! An added bonus to his party was that Emily was there! I only got one good shot of the birthday boy, but here's a link to a former birthday post for some more good shots of Ryan.

Today after school, Kiera and I went to Starbucks to have a treat and make Ty a welcome home sign. She has been counting down the days to see him. She woke up this morning saying "Today is day zero! Tyler comes home tonight!" She stayed up a little late and got to see him. Don't you love Ty's method of packing? He's using garbage bags stolen from the housekeeping department at school.

Kiera played her best game of the season last night.

She still did not score, but she made contact with
