Fun with Mimi and Papa

Papa took the day off work to have some fun with two of his three favorite girls! We started the morning at swimming lessons. Kiera is now in level three. She's the youngest one in the class but is holding her own! We headed to Chic Fil A for lunch and Kiera got to meet the cow. Next stop, the bowling alley. Fun was had by all!

Island

We docked (more like stuck the boat in the sand) and went on an island. There were a lot of hungry blue gills near the shore; Kiera happily fed them Ritz Crackers and was not afraid of them (too much...she did jump a time or two when they nipped at her fingers). 

Boating

While Gavin and Erin were working, the rest of us headed to Lake Hartwell for some boating fun. The lake is manmade and the water is crystal clear. We could see our whole bodies underwater. Everyone took a turn tubing, except Brooke (who looked adorable in her doggie life best!). 

Hedgehog

As you could tell from the horseback riding pictures, Erin is an animal lover. They have a hedgehog named Mr. Pricklesworth. Kiera helped Gavin give him a bath then we all got a chance to hold and pet him. He is prickly, but not as much as you'd think.
