Ty's Graduation

I can't believe Ty is a senior; it seems like I just met him as a 6th grader after football practice in Green. Where did the time go? Graduation day was a happy and sad day...happy for the new beginning and sad for the ending of high school and having Ty around all the time (sort of!). The boys do not wear cap and gowns rather blue blazers and sacred Ignatius ties. He looked so handsome!

Soccer Night

Last Wednesday, Kiera had a soccer game in the evening. She played almost all of the game. She ran after all of the balls, but never really got in on the action. After soccer, Kiera and Dave played around on the field then we headed for ice cream. Dave suggested Dairy Queen, but Kiera insisted on Mitchell's (my girl knows her ice cream!).

Dave and I got a good chuckle from this sign...we are so mature!

Kiera's Prom Photoshoot

After the kids left for prom, the parents stayed at the Oliver's house to mingle. Little Miss Kiera was a little restless so she and I strolled through their backyard gardens and had a little photo shoot. Here are the best shots...

Prom

Ty's prom was last night. The evening started with a "where are the car keys?" No one could find them, until we looked in the ignition of the car. Yes, someone (and none of us did it!) left the keys in the car. Dave had to jump the car before Ty could go pick up Kelly in the black car. After that, the evening was perfect! The rain held off until later in the evening, so we were able to get good pics (a little humid and a little too much fog coming off the lake). Prom was at the Renaissance downtown. Ty said they had the most fun at prom dancing, but after prom at CSU was lame. He came home "early" at 3am from after prom to sleep so he and all of his friends would be rested up for a Cedar Point Cabin trip.

Dinner

We enjoyed a week long visit with Emily and had a lovely dinner to celebrate! It was our first official dinner party on the patio for the spring/summer.
