First Day of Fifth Grade

Our girl is off to 5th Grade! She's excited to have one of Ty's friend's mom be her teacher. This year, the theme of the school year is "We are God's MasterPEACE." May Kiera have a great year...may she learn a lot, practice peacefulness and kindness, remember that she is indeed a master piece and make many fond memories!

SS Celebration

The Summer Sisters met for a birthday celebration on our patio. 

It was a beautiful day to catch up; the weather was sunny and 

bright. We had salads from Salad Kraze and sipped on iced tea

and blueberry lemon sangria using our SS wine glasses. The 

favorite gift was from Heather...matching Tiffany and Co. pots

with a succulent. We also got exciting news...Heather is pregnant!

Mini Vacay with Mimi and Papa

Kiera went on a mini summer vacay again this year with Mimi and Papa. They went to Kentucky to visit Mammoth Cave. They made a pit stop in Cincinnati to see the Indians play the Reds...Go Tribe!

Farm Updates

We had a stamped concrete patio poured

on the bank wall of the barn.

 Grandpa helped us to get all of the fishing poles

untangled and repaired.

 To keep the poles in good working order, we 

installed a rack for them!

 We got a dishwasher...

 ...and a microwave!
