Cavs Parade

What an electrifying time for the City of Cleveland as the Cavs are the NBA Champs!
Mimi, Kiera and I headed downtown to celebrate (along with 1.3 million other people!)
the Cavs at a parade downtown. We took the rapid downtown. It was very crowded,
but a controlled chaos. When the parade was over, we headed  for home rather than
staying to listen to the player's speeches. We started to head to Tower City to catch
the rapid, but it was very packed. We called Dave and thankfully, he picked
us up at the Westside Market (we huffed and puffed across the Lorain Carnegie Bridge).
We were hot, tired and hungry. We headed to Si Senor's to eat, enjoy
the air conditioning and listen to the speeches on the TV.
It was super crowded, super hot but super awesome...and a day we'll never forget!

parade route

 Sooooo many people!

Christmas Fun in Cleveland

We took our annual trip to the Westside Market to buy food for the Christmas Eve menu. Kiera's favorite part was sampling fudge and observing the hustle and bustle of the Market from the balcony. After the Market, Mom and I went to the thrift store while the boys and Kiera waited in the car. We found some treasures then headed to Gordon Square. We ate at a Puerto Rican restaurant for lunch; all of us ate jiberitos for the first time. Kiera had chicken soup, but didn't like the chicken because it was still on the bone. Last stop was to Sweet Moses for dessert. It was the most darling shop, it was made to look like an old fashioned soda shop.
