More Summer Fun!

First campfire in Mimi and Papa's new fire pit! 

One of the best parts of sleeping over at Mimi and Papa's house 

is a delicious breakfast cooked by Papa

Kiera's a Lake Girl for sure!

Our library hosted a performance by The Bubble Lady. She's amazing!

This was our second time seeing her and she did not disappoint. Kiera

got picked to be in the giant bubble.

and she had a bounce house!

Enjoying Summer!

We've been enjoying our summer so far!

Kiera learned how to hang upside down on the monkey bars

We took my old bike (Emmy used it too!) to the bike shop

for a tune up so we could pass on the "Unicorn Bike" to Kiera.

We had a good laugh when the bike tech said that my parents stored

the bike very well because it was in excellent condition....all they did

was hang it up in their garage (and pester us to take it to our garage!) 

Kiera said, "I think he's making the bike speedier!"

Long live the unicorn bike!

Kiera and I got pedicures together. It was her first time. 

She chose bright pink for a base and sparkles. 

We went to the beach and found this awesome hut made 

out of driftwood.

We love our lake! 

Happy Birthday, Grandpa!

We celebrated Grandpa's birthday with lunch at our favorite spot, The Courtyard, followed by birthday ice cream at Honey Hut. Then off to the park for some exploring and it didn't disappoint!

Daisy Girl Scout Picnic

We celebrated our first year of being Daisy Girl Scouts (Kiera as a Daisy and me as a co-leader) with an end of the year picnic at the park. The girls played a lot...the playground, a water balloon toss, shaving cream cap and cheese ball toss, piñata and made bubble snakes.  

Kindergarten Graduation

Today was Kiera's Kindergarten Graduation. It was a bittersweet day...so happy she had a great year, but sad that she's growing up so quickly!
